Last Sunday, the Gurgaon Walkers Group (GWG) embarked on another inspiring journey — a 5KM hike to Nalhar Shiv Mandir, nestled in the peaceful hills of Nuh, Haryana.
What made this hike special wasn’t just the scenic beauty or the spiritual energy of the temple — it was the sense of togetherness that carried every step.

The path to Nalhar Shiv Mandir winds through the Aravalli foothills, offering a blend of lush landscapes and serene silence.
Legend says that the temple holds ancient roots connected to the Pandavas and is known for its sacred water spring that never dries up — a symbol of divine endurance and faith.

As we ascended, every turn revealed not just a new view but also a deeper sense of calm — the kind that only nature and devotion together can create.

The Gurgaon Walkers Group believes in more than just physical fitness.
Each of our Sunday hikes is an invitation to reconnect — with nature, with others, and with oneself.
The Nalhar trek reminded us how simple walks can become soulful experiences, where every step brings a sense of purpose and every smile strengthens the bond of community.

The Nalhar Shiv Mandir hike wasn’t just a day outdoors — it was a reminder of India’s living heritage.
GWG’s initiatives aim to preserve this blend of culture, faith, and wellness through meaningful community activities every week.
